102 S. LOIS LN.

The Washington family: Lester, Jheannine, and daughter Mia, moved into the neighborhood in April 2008. They are very pleased with their home and became even more pleased with the surrounding neighborhood. Lester and Jheannine were recently married in Puerto Rico and have celebrated our two-month anniversary. Daughter Mia is 2 years old. Her hobbies include blowing bubbles, playing with her dog Benji and using her imagination regularly. Lester and Jheannine enjoy shopping, cooking, watching movies, traveling, spending time with Mia, and gardening and enhancing/decorating their home.

438 RORARY DR.

Charles and Patricia Wright moved from New Orleans to their present home in 1959. Charles worked at Texas Instruments until he retired in 1991. Patricia spent most of her time raising their three children, Cheri, Melissa, and Duane. All three children attended Terrace Elementary, Richardson Jr. High, and Berkner High. They have seen many changes in the neighborhood. Patricia remembers taking her children to the Dairy Queen on Belt Line for hamburgers. Years ago the Dairy Queen closed and it is now Bruce Miller Nursery where she buys her plants.

213 BETTY DR.

Elroy and Gail Stoglin have lived on Betty for 24 years. Elroy works for the City of Richardson in the Traffic Department and Gail is a 2nd grade teacher in Dallas. They have two children, Michael and Andrea. Michael attends Sam Houston State in Huntsville and Andrea is a senior at Richardson High School this year. They have enjoyed each and every year they have lived in the neighborhood. They say the neighbors on Betty Drive are like family and that the Highland Terrace neighborhood is one of the best kept secrets in town.
