We’re Celebrating Early!

Saturday, June 28th 11-1pm Terrace Park

This year the Highland Terrace Neighborhood Association will hold it’s annual 4th of July picnic on June 28th at Terrace Park. This is the Saturday before the 4th! The Association will provide hot dogs, plates, utensils, condiments, and drinks. We ask each family that attends, to please bring a dish or dessert to share: salads, veggie trays, cookies, potato chips, whatever strikes your fancy. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on for comfort, and come relax with neighbors, enjoy lunch, and let the kids play.

This is also the time to pick up your HTNA directory, as promised in the welcome letter that you received when you joined! We’re excited to have this perk ready for you and encourage you to stop by the park and pick up your copy.

Please come and join us as we celebrate our country’s birthday. Meet new friends, catch-up with neighbors that you haven’t seen for a while and show your support for our neighborhood and the HTNA. Also, if you have neighbors that are not members of the HTNA, please invite them to join! Ask them to bring $15 and a dish to share and join The Association on the day of the picnic. We’re still working towards our membership goal!

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help, please call Crystal Burris at 972-690-4486 or Leah Jennings at 972-238-8204. See you at the park!

Social Chatter

Thank you to our Volunteers

The HTNA Social Committee wishes to thank you for your continued support of our neighborhood. Our members are the lifeblood of this Association. We would like to thank some special members that have gone above and beyond the call of duty and have volunteered their time to help us at our various social functions. A big thank you to: The Rohrer Family, Charlene Ditty, Joyce Maloney, and David Boyd.

These volunteers helped with the Easter Egg Hunt, the Spring Neighbors Meeting, and the Trash Bash. We would also like to thank the members that attended these events. It takes all of us working together to be a successful Neighborhood Association. All of the HTNA committees welcome volunteers. Please contact a Board Member associated with the area in which you are interested in working and get involved!
