We have an awesome new Civic Affairs Chair that has just joined the Board! HTNA is proud and grateful to introduce you to Lauren Decker who commits a great deal of time attending the board meetings each week and keeping a watchful eye for our neighborhood.
She is very involved in the neighborhood and was formally the President of Richardson Terrace Elementary PTA. She is an excellent writer, and we are excited for you to get to know her at the next events. Please check out her latest articles below! They are well worth the read.
Wow School starts this week! I cannot believe how quick this HOT summer has flown by. To help the board out with events we have decided to combine our last event with NNO this year. Thank you for your patience with all the changing dates. Do not forget to register above so we can order enough shirts in time. The deadline to order shirts will be Sept 5th at midnight. We look forward to seeing you. Go ahead and circle October 22nd for our October Movie Night in the Park. We will have more specifics in the September newsletter.
We are so very close to our goal we are at 93 members! Help us reach 100 membersby telling your neighbor about HTNA and encourage them to join! We do not want anyone to pay twice so if you are not sure about your current status click the link below to see if you have paid this year.
Attention to all incoming Kindergarten families: Come celebrate the end of the summer with us on the school playground (located on the east side of the building next to the basketball court). This is a great opportunity to meet new friends before school starts and get to visit with your kinder teachers again after Sneak Peek Night. Light refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Join the RTE PTA and fellow parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles on the front lawn to celebrate and/or cry together on the first day of school after drop off. We'll have refreshments, tissues, and noisemakers available.
