Even so, I hope you all have had a great summer with friends and family! There is only a few days left before school is back in session, so now is the time to squeeze in those last few moments in the sun, at the pool, by the grill, etc. Just make sure you stay hydrated all the while of course.

HTNA Membership
Each month, the Highland Terrace Neighborhood Association sends out a newsletter (just like this!) to keep you informed about things happening around our city and neighborhood. Some of these events are even organized by the neighborhood for the neighborhood. The only way we are able to organize these events is because some of you are paying members of the HTNA.
While the newsletter is free, membership does have a cost. For only $15 a year per household, you can help our neighborhood continue providing community opportunities for years to come. Please consider joining today, and invite a neighbor to do the same!
Every year, Highland Terrace participates in National Night Out, and we hope you will join us! On October 3, you are invited to get out of the house and meet you neighbors and local law enforcement. You can learn more on the RPD website. Additionally, there will be an HTNA Members Meeting where you can learn all about what we have in store for the next year and vote on board members.
Yard of the Month
Last month, 482 Grace Dr. was awarded our Yard of the Month title! Those that are given this title receive a small prize and a lot of street cred. If you know of anyone in our neighborhood with a beautiful yard, let us know!
